cannot go past a relay mounted on the front support bracket . ignition switches on the relay the contacts of the relay are
1 connected to the battery cable at the starter motor
2 connected to the solenoid of starter
this bypass all the car wiring to deliver full available battery volts to the starter
cheap alternative relay $20 plus 60mins of your time fixed my 327/th400 truck and many others that have problems with hot starts
