I recently ordered a power steering conversion kit from CPP (5559-blk). Trouble I'm having is that the steering box it says to use, doesn't seem to work. It says 1967-1987 Chevy 2wd truck. Other sites I have looked at that sells it has other years and designations for the box. I figured I'd go with what CPP said. Ordered a remanned box from off ebay and it was a steering input shaft that is way smaller than the 13/16" 36-spline shaft it is suppose to use.
Been looking at a lot of other boxes from the year range stated and they all pretty much look the same as the one I got.
Am I missing something? Is CPP's info not straight? What is it exactly that I need to look for, it's pretty apparent that it isn't as easy as 1967-1987 2wd.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
