I just read your post, I had some what of a similar problem on an old toyota, i had gone to a bosch platinum spark plug thinking that a newer style plug would help it run better,, definatley did not,, kept having a miss jumping from different cylinders,, changed and checked just about everything that was mentioned earlier, and it turned out to be the darn plugs went back to what was called for in the manual and the thing purred like a kitten,,
