Both the intake and exhaust valves have a single groove in them. My head had orig valves that were marked '41.
It is worth noting that the replacement valves are flat top (which would increase compression slightly) and a few mm longer with the keepers set a few mm off from the orig design.
Had i realized that the cam gear was fiber i would have never made these discoveries. | | |
