Amazing how quickly the responses arrive on this forum.
I just set them at .008 and .015 as I need to get them someplace close. Looks like I am now OK for initial start.
I still have quite a bit to do before I can crank it. I have not even started on sorting thru my generators and starters. I will try to get a new oil pump tomorrow, and I still have to decide what I am going to do about the water pump. The old water pump (one of them) looks good, but I will have to find a large diameter pulley that is shorter, and see if I can press the whole mess together. If not, I will order a spendy pump.
