How long did the truck sit without running? Did you use a motor flush or something when you changed the oil? Are you using new generation oil? The puff out the pipe sounds like valves.
New generation oil will wipe and old cam...and since it is missing on all cylinders, wiping the lobes on the cam is where I am at since you have went through the ignition, and worked the carb.
