I keep my 51' 3100, parked in the garage when not in use. I noticed a strong odor of gas one day, upon inspection, I found gas just running out of the filler neck, out from under the gas cap! The tank was not over full. My thought was that perhaps the vent in the cap was clogged, so now I am on my third cap(last one was new from Jim Carters), same result! This has ben going on now for about 3 weeks! Gas just rises up the filler neck, and literally pours out the top. In almost 50 years, this is one I have never run across before. Has anyone had this happen? if so, any suggestions as to a fix? I will have to re-paint part of the cab now, due to the gas ruining the paint. Thanks!
