#64659 08/22/2006 12:55 AM | Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 | Hy mapleleaf, short water pumps on 54-55A 235s make them an easier swap into older trucks, no point in getting one older than 54 [53 Canadian] for the better bearings. Newer engines have a longer water pump that will need to be replaced with a custom short shafted one. Hope that helps. | | |
