I have several of them and they crank a lot faster than a starter with regular coils. The guy I use is Commercial Alternator in Johnson City, TX. (830) 868-7594. He's about 30 miles from here. Its a guy and one helper and his wife in the office. He also installed 12 volt coils in a 6 volt starter for me recently. They are not cheap, because he gets someone to hand wind them. But nothing for my old jalopies is cheap except for the spare parts I've had on hand 40 years. | | |
