Kasenit leaves a little scale during the hardening process, but it's easily removed with a cartridge roll on a mandrel, either spun in a die grinder or a drill press. I've got some very small-diameter ones I use while doing finish-up work on cylinder head porting jobs.

No pics yet- - - - -I forgot to bring the pieces home from the school shop, so I'll take the casehardening powder back there from the gunshop Monday morning.
