Chuck if you using PPG DBC/DBI when applied as an interior finish you do not apply a clear coat over the base. You can use the base as a single stage paint but it will not have the high gloss that you get with the clear coat. Used that way you will leave a satin finish to the interior paint. If you're using a single stage system like Concept DCC then you will need to add a flattener to the paint.
