In order to do a good job you need to take that spring leaf out of the set so you can grind off the bad rivet and knock it out. With the spring leaf out you can make you another spring clip outt of a piece of 3/4" flat steel. Drill a hole in it and then attach it with a new rivet by pressing the rivet flat with a fair size press. I did mine and they came out nice..... once you get the piece riveted to the spring you put it in a vice to hit/bend it with a hammer. See Denny Grahams link in a post here in this forum. He is the one that gets tht credit for me getting mine done. | | |
