I recently purchased a new steering wheel for my truck as the old one is pretty worn. In my haste and without measuring or test fitting I bought a wheel off of a '55 Buick special. Once I had the wheel off of my truck I noticed a few diffrences. The splines on the column are too small for the Buick wheel. It has 2 posts coming off of the back (I am guessing to cancel turn signals) and no place to put the plastic GMC signal cancelation device on the back. Before I started hacking away at a really nice wheel I wanted to get some opinions. Is there any way to make this work? Thanks!
