I have to assume your talking about the '47 that I found after looking at your profile???
If I were at the stage you are at now, that is, looking for a new set of rims, I would certainly go with a single piece rim and tubeless radial tires.
Unless your shooting for a factory correct show truck then your just asking for a poor handling, rough rider and a lot of grief, with the split rims, bias ply tires, flaps and tubes.
I've been thru it and so have a hundred other guys here on the forum and in the end after all the expense and aggravation mine ended up stacked in the corner of the garage in case I ever, for some odd reason, decided to build a truck to be judged.
And if you’re the type that has to try it for yourself in spite of what other’s have been through, then go and become one hundred and one.
