I wanted to update the progress of my Dad’s 1936 Chevy pickup; we finally completed the frame off restoration in July 2009 since this was our second time doing this type of project together we were able to do things a little faster and better on his truck, I have included some pictures of the process, as you can see we added a power steering gear box and used the original pitman arm. He was able to get it to two car shows so far and got a trophy at the second event.
Since we have completed the restoration he does not drive it everyday but my mother drives it more often now because it has power steering and an automatic, I know my Dad looks at his truck as his pride and Joy as he has for the last 49 years but now she really shines, He has had all winter to rest so he will take it easy this summer and hopefully get it to a few more car shows
