I have '58 chevy V8 (actually I'm doing a conversion from a 235-6 to a 283 using original type mounts, bellhousing etc.) Does anyone know what year flywheels will work with this application? I want to make sure it will work with my bellhousing mounted starter. Also, I'm looking for a flywheel for 10" or 11" clutch if anybody has a good one for sale that will work with my application.
My other question is about balancing. If I pick up a flywheel to use on my 283, what should be done as far as balancing?
