Ahh yes on sharpening drill bits.For years I sharpened them on a grinding wheel,then one Christmas I received a Drill Doctor,and it is one nice piece of equipment.I can get the Drill Doctor out turn the radio to a country music station and sharpen a coffee can full of bits in about one hour.
