You seem to have a handle on this and I need to replace the tires on my '61. Now they have larger tires in the back smaller in the front? Don't want to carry 2 spares! So can I put the 31/10.5 on the front as well? That is what's currently on the back.Seems to be plenty of space in the wheel well?
Try mounting your rears up front.
