The oil pan has to come off, too. There's 2 bolts for the timing cover that go in from inside the pan (I know, crazy isn't it?) You'll be looking at removing the radiator and the grille at least to pull the cam. It's pressed, so a trip to the machine shop may be necessary. This is assuming it's just the gear and not a broken cam.
