I have a 235 engine sitting behind my barn that I bought from a guy for $50 just to get the exterior parts. I believe it's from a 1959 Chevy car of some sort. I believe the engine is seized and will not turn. It has been sitting in the elements for many years even before I bought it. The head is full of water.
My question, is it rebuildable? That is if the block is not cracked. Should I take the time to tear it down clean it up and have it inspected for cracks in prep for a rebuild?
