What about what this guy did on his 1952? Is this a possibility on a mid 60's truck? Granted, it looks extremely involved. I doubt I would go to this much trouble, but it is a possible solution?

I can't tell: did he raise the bed to accomplish this? Doesn't look like it to me.

By the way, can anyone point me to a nice photo of a 60's frame?
