engine 1980 350 (5.7L) with 883 heads, roller rockers and crane 100052 (272 degree) cam. Not sure of the bore, but the engine has been rebuilt.
The carb is an Edelbrock 1405 and the problem is it seems to be running a little bit too rich and I have developed a leak at the secondary shaft on the passenger side. I do not have a fuel pressure regulator and my fuel pressure gauge is broken and does not work, but before it broke it was showing about 7 psi. If not for the leak I would have no complaint. I do want to find a good Carter Quadrajet and replace it but the dollar is a bit short at this time. Does anyone have any ideas for fixes to check out?
