i know, im a little late on this, but maybe it will help him, or somebody. my opinion, is gearing. make sure its geared to do whatever you want to do...people are still supprised about the (old)medium dutys with "just a 6 cylinder! but its a BIG truck!" if you're mainly looking for torque, gear it for what you're doing.
