About the only thing you can take apart from it is take out the lock cylinder. That is done by using a paperclip to depress the little button in the hole. The hole is on the face of the lock cylinder where the key goes. It may be dirty or have crud in there so you can clean it out. If you have a shop manuel it details how to take it apart. Or a search on google would bring it up. If you have a voltmeter that can test for continuity then you can hook up the leads to the power and other terminals on the back and see if you have continuity in all positions. If you don't you may just have a bad ignition switch. Good luck! And hope I didn't confuse things for ya! wink
