People have posted that 47-53 A-D trucks have no problems with after-market electric wiper motors.
However, I think that there is no after-market electric wiper motor that will fit with an original 1954/55 A-D (Chevrolet) radio/speaker. The original GM accessory 2-speed 54/55 6v electric wiper motor works fine with the standard radio. GMC ND 54/55 trucks do not have the same problem with after-market electric wiper motors.
