I cannot say I like soldered connections. In my experience crimped are the way to go. In the restoration hangar we never solder a terminal because vibration will eventually cause it to fail. I believe there is an FAA standard on this.
Having said that you can buy 3 way connectors that crimp, solder and have heat shrink built in, from PICO.
