#60965 05/31/2006 6:17 PM | Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 2,733 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 2,733 | I did twin 2" from the Fenton to under the cab where I used a single 2.5" inlet muffler with twin 2" outlets. A stock muffler was used to subdue the noise to what I consider respectful. I don't know how this would compare to a 2x2 setup but it sounds great (to me) and looks terrific with the twin chrome tips and was inexpensive. I looked into the 2x2 setup but was unable to find a muffler that was the proper size and shape but am delighted at how it all turned out regardless. This truck is for my wife who likes the sound a bit quiter than I might prefer but it is still OK. The worst part was making the two into one pipe ahead of the muffler. | | |
