I would pitch that "race only" Holley and put a Quadrajet on it. The primaries are a lot smaller than the 2 barrel carb but you'll have secondaries when you need it. A Quad, when driven nice, will get better MPG's than a 2 barrel. You can also adjust the opening point of the secondaries to prevent the use of excess fuel while driving modestly,
