I had the carb rebuilt by a pro. carb. guy and I put it on with new gaskets and cleaning the intake manifold and a very thin film of gasket sealer on both sides, I did try putting fuel down the throat of it to prime it but no luck firing it off, (about two shot glasses worth at a time)nothing else was tinkered with and I made sure to mark the choke setting and all the other stuff to have it back exactly as it was origonally when I took it off, after I knew the pot was full of fuel I used starting fluid and not 1 cylinder tried to ignite, on comp. check I only have 1 cylinder that is off by about 7 lbs. at the most all the rest are within 3 lbs.. I will go through the distributor and see what I find there, I did pull the coil wire for spark and that works fine.
