Simple cure for all these miths is a "Battery Tender" ...I have them on my AD,motorcycles,boat and even my riding lawn mower.
They all will turn over just fine even after months of storage and battery replacement is next to nill.
THEY JUST PLAIN WORK.
my Bass Rig is stored inside under roof but not heated storage every winter just plugged in to the battery maintainers, and as long as the batts are charged and kept that way they cannot freeze or go bad.
just my 2 pennies.
