| | | | Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 1,513 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 1,513 | The spacer ring (usually sold as a spacer ring/thrust plate set to control clearance) is chamfered on the I.D. on one side only and if installed upside down will not shoulder up against the journal properly.
