i'm putting my motor back together, crank in with .006 clearance and pushed to the front, but when i fit the front end plate and new thrust plate, the outside face of thrust plate isn't parallel/flush to the crank hub. it's approx a .06 too 'thick'. i even tried the old thrust and it's not much better. sand/file/grind it thinner?
