elm (51 Basket case) 'Bolter E Joined: Aug 2002 Posts: 154 Wisconsin Rapids ,Wisconsin	I just un packed my bed sides and front bed panel and it looks like they are painted black. Do I need to strip these to bare metal or is it ok to just scuff them, prime and paint? I got the parts from the old Chevy Duty. It's been awhile since I have had time to work on the old truck.
