| | | | Joined: Dec 2000 Posts: 506 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2000 Posts: 506 | If you go with the cast iron saginaw 4 speed, the ideal first gear is the one with the 2 groves on the input shaft. I have a 3 grove on the back of a 235. While ok its awful long with a short second gear.
