hello, I have a '54 5 window that i am going to rat rod.I would really like to use as much of the orig. chassis as possible.I am planning to chop the chassis behind the cab and put a z in the frame with some 2x3 or 2x4 and box in the rest with flat steel. what I would reall y like to do to the front is some how have a hairpin front susp. Any advice? right now i still have the straight axle that was in it but it has the 2 leaf springs. I know that i can get every thing i need from speedway, just asking if anyone out there that has been doing this for a long time knew of a cheaper way? thanks. wayne
