I don't believe there is any adjustment on the parking brake other than the nut at the end of the cable. None inside the drum. If the shoes don't retract you need to look elsewhere for that problem. Usually, just a couple of stomps on the brake pedal after the drums are on will center and align the shoes. That's assuming the adjuster, springs and retainers are installed correctly.
