| | | | Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 1,644 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 1,644 | Yes if the points are not closing and opening right You could have little or no spark to check Your sec. windings take the plug wire from the coil and take it off the center post of the cap put a plug on it so it goes from the coil to a plug ground the plug and than manualy close and open the points and see if You get spark if You get spark You coil is OK of course the key has to be on also.
