From what has been posted in the past, the rear seats are the same, but the mounting frames may have different mounting hole locations. If that is correct, unless you took the seats out and measured the holes, you would think they are the same.
If someone has a 1948/55 suburban they should measure the floor mounting spacing and compare it with someone who has the 1955/9 suburban. If the floor mounting spacing are the same, then the seats will mount in either a 1948/55 or a 1955/9.
Cletis, measure the spacing on your suburban and let's put a call out for a task force guy to measure theirs. Another way is to have sean measure his mounting holes on the seats he has and post them. I can measure mine this weekend.
