I am changing shocks on my truck due to a engineering problem by me, they were to long and were hitting the internal stops.
How much travel is needed on the compression side and extension side of a modern tube type shock?
Heres what I have, setting on level pavement, there is 12.25" between the mounts. Will a shock with 9.25" compression to 14.125" extension be enough?
How much more compression do you need over extension?
