I've had a dozen or more turn signal assemblies from all the 5-9 years and have never found any difference - the lever is identical 55-59, comes straight out of the cup any year, the cancelling plate that goes on the bottom of the wheel is identical 54-59 .... only thing that might happen is yer knuckles might brush the lever if you have a grip on one of the spokes instead of the rim of the wheel
