I remember reading about a tip to adjust points by attaching a piece of metal to the engine with a pointer pointing to the distributor. The distributor is moved to adjust the points (rather than turning the engine to get to the high point on the lobe) then the distributor is returned to the original position by lining up the 'pointer'; I thought it was on Stovebolt but I can't seem to find it. Has anyone heard of this tip and where it can be found? Thanks
