Mortec says that the block casting number is a '68 327 chevy truck engine. Anything special about this mill?
Is the block casting number a fore-sure reference? This motor turned up in a '79 camero, and the seller said its a 283. If you de-stroke a 327, doesn't it become a chevy 302???
I'd like somebody to explain the 283-302-327 combos for me...
