The real question will be weather or not it'll bolt up to the torque tube for a truck. I personally am not sure about that, but others may know. However, I would like to throw out this suggestion. Rather than run the 'Glide, which only has 2 gears and no overdrive, you may want to consider doing an open driveline swap (covered extensively, try doing a search for info), then using the later style automatic trans adapter for Langdons. This will let you use the 700R4 trans, which gets you not only a better first gear, but also an overdrive. This will make the truck much more capable on the highway, plus more enjoyable to drive in town. Another advantage to going with an open drive, better gear selection, which again, makes the truck more enjoyable to drive.
