This is a single stage oil based primer.
I let it set for another 24 hours and it was fine. It sanded very nicely. I am not sure if iot was the damp or the cool temp but it seems fine now.
I am in the midst of sanding and glazing now. I think I am about 30% done on my way to paint. Of course the more I sand the more imperfections I find to fix. But I think it will be worth the time and effort.
One question I have always sanded metal with 60 grit before priming. I am sanding my primer with 320 to 400 grit before paint. It seems very smooth. Will I have adhering trouble with the paint if the pimer is that smooth? It is almost glossy.
