I worked all day yesterday sanding my primer and filling little dings and waves here and there. It was coming along nicely.
I reprimed both doors and rear fenders. The primer is much smoother now. Tonight I thought I would just sand one door with 400 grit. Well it was coming along great when a little rough spot appeared near the crease in the upper part of the door below the window. The more I sanded the bigger it got.
When I finally spread it across the entire door I stopped.
I think this was due to the conditions, I painted yesterday when it was raining. The truck was closed up in the garage for the whole day as I was off on another job. I just don't think it cured completely and I rubbed through it where the crease is and the paint is naturally a little thicker there.
What a Pain! the rest of the door looks fabulous...best body work I have ever done.
I will let it cure a few days and try to re sand and smooth out the rough spot.
Any advice is alway welcome.
