Thanks for the input. I was trying to keep this post simple, but here is the background. I've bought three heads and ALL of them were cracked. I decided that it was a bad gamble. Like Denny said - by the time you buy the head and then paid to have it magnafluxed you've got a bunch of money invested. I decided that it was time to pick the best of the three heads and have it repaired.I'm prepared for the fact that the stitch job will not be cheap, but no one said this was an inexpensive hobby!
