Hi all, I am looking at buying someone elses project that they have run out of gas on. A 53 fivewindow. The truck was painted recently, dark maroon, and the paint seems to chip easy when hard contact is made, not enough to dent the metal, but enough to cause a chip in the paint. Could this be too much hardener in the paint or a bad seal job. The paint looks great, no runs or visible flaws. I don't know anything about paint but if it is a bad seal would that make it hard to paint over the truck again. Would it have to be taken back down to metal?
