A friend of mine solved this problem by taking his old radiator and a good 4 core cross-flow radiator to his favorite radiator shop and having it converted to a downflow (up-flow?). He said it only cost him abour 50 bucks,and it cools GREAT. It was just a matter of moving the filler a quarter turn,basically standing the crossflow on end,and swapping the brackets from his old radiator.It bolted right in.
