For everyday use I use the same lube as the differential. If you are just trying to free it a light weight oil maybe mixed with a little kerosene. Are you sure the problem is in the steering box and not farther down the line like the tie rod and drag link joints or even the king pins. If you are not sure I would pull the pitman arm off of the steering box and check both directions from there. | | |
