For helping keep this great

on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2001 Posts: 629 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2001 Posts: 629 | I am in the process os reassembling my '46 216 for my 1/2 ton Chevy and seem to have misplaced the original dipstick tube. Can someone out there tell me how long the dipstick tube is as well as how long the actual dipstick is. I have the '46 dipstick and I also have a '48 dipstick. The '48 is longer than the '46 and the tube for the '48 is wider than the hole in the '46 block.
Any help is (as always) greatly appreciated.
